Day 01: Ha Noi - Arrival - City tour

  • Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be welcomed by our driver and transferred to your hotel.
  • Hanoi is one of Asia’s most charming cities, with its romantic tree-lined boulevards and colonial houses.
  • Check-in time: 14:00 PM
  • Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 02: Ha Noi - City tour - Ha Noi (B/-/-)

  • Get picked up by our friendly guide and start exploring Hanoi City.
  • Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda, located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. It is the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, built in the 6th century.
  • Visit Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh, then walk around the garden to see two houses where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969.
  • Visit One Pillar Pagoda, which worships the Goddess of Mercy. It is the most unique pagoda in the world.
    • Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples, and pagodas.
    • Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.
    • Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed for at least two months (June 15 – August 15) for annual maintenance, but visitors can still take pictures and explore the surrounding area.
  • Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam.
    • Special Note: On Mondays, we will visit the Women’s Museum instead, as the Ethnology Museum is closed.
  • Continue to the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11th century.
  • Visit Hoa Lo Prison Museum, originally used by French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. It was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton.”
  • Tour finishes, return to the hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 03: Ha Noi - Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)

  • Explore Halong Bay on Le Journey Cruises (2 Days)

  • 11:30 – 12:00 | Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor

  • 12:00 | Transfer to Main Boat by Tender & Embark on Le Journey Cruises

    • Option 2: Visit the fishing village “Tra Bau” and join a kayaking experience to explore the area—famous as a filming location for Kong: Skull Island (2018) in Quang Ninh.
  • 17:00 – 18:00 | Sunset Party, Happy Hour & Cooking Class

    • Relax on the cruise while enjoying the magical sunset over Lan Ha Bay.
    • Join our “Sunset Party” and enjoy “Happy Hour” deals.
    • Take part in a Vietnamese cooking demonstration to learn how to make traditional dishes like fresh or dried spring rolls and vegetable/fruit carving.

Day 04: Ha Long Bay - Ha Noi - Flight to Ho Chi Minh city (B/Brunch/-)

  • 06:00 – 07:00 | Light Breakfast on Le Journey Cruises

    • Enjoy tea, coffee, and a light breakfast in the fresh air and peaceful surroundings as the cruise passes stunning karst towers.
  • 08:00 | Explore Lan Ha Bay – Ha Long Bay

    • Visit the Dark and Bright Cave, known for its pristine beauty and poetic seascape.
    • Capture stunning photos of the romantic scenery.
    • Enjoy a bamboo boat ride or kayaking to explore the limestone mountains and the blue sky of Lan Ha Bay.
  • 09:00 | Back to the Boat for Check-out

  • 10:00 | Brunch Time

    • Enjoy a well-prepared lunch as the cruise slowly navigates through emerald waters and thousands of karst mountains towards the harbor.
  • 11:00 – 11:30 | Return to Tuan Chau Harbor

    • Bus transfer service from Halong to Hanoi (available for pre-booking).
  • 15:00 – 16:00 | Arrive in Hanoi Old Quarter

    • Our driver will pick you up and transfer you to Hanoi airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

    • Meet your driver upon arrival and transfer to your hotel.

Day 05: Ho Chi Minh city - Cu Chi tunnels - Half Day city tour (B/-/-)

  • Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace, was built on the site of the former Norodom Palace.
  • The Independence Palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu.
  • Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic Central Post Office.
  • Depart for Cu Chi tunnels, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving.
  • Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by an introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the wartime.
  • Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the specially constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs.
  • Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purposes during the war.
  • Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war) will be served.
  • Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun.
  • Return to Saigon.
  • Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 06: Ho Chi Minh city - Mekong Delta Tour- Departure (B/-/-)

  • Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River.
  • Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19th century.
  • Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Tortoise islands.
  • Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people.
  • Visit the fruit plantation.
  • Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.
  • In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta.
  • Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip.
  • Return to Ho Chi Minh City.
  • And departure to Airport.
